I lived 5 years in New York city and I'll brief you on people here, & feel free to judge!.
Every morning millions upon millions of people enter the big apple NY using trains, subways, and ferry. I used to be one of them, few of these people are without book ins their hand.
guys words here matter and sound, books are one of the best gift you can ever get here,
As an example of my story a writer who entered the heart of lots of Americans "Barak Obama". His first book dreams from my father, was a best seller and lots of people read it. This book changed his life and it was the start, he wrote more and more and off course made a good name and money J.
I experience his father dream through him, since the very first moment when he was running for democratic nominations, even before anyone heard about him in the media New Yorkers has shirts have his name on it for 2008 presidency "although Hillary Clinton is a New York senator ".
So guys believe me on this they really read, they really care, and they are free.
As a volunteer in his campaign my goal was to promote people to vote because they were fed up with the stupidity of Bush administrations, and didn't go to vote last time and that's why he was elected again,
People in US protested the war on Iraq more than the whole Arabic world did ...
Guys wake up, it is inside every one of us we are cynical, have no sprit, and not willing to do anything about it ..
I can tell more and more of everyday stories but unfortunately, as everyone here, the day is too short for what we've to accomplish, believe it or not people are too busy here but they give time for knowledge
